-Traveling by Air and Train-
From Schiphol Airport (near Amsterdam), which is famous for being one of the most comfortable
airports in the world, trains for Groningen leave every 30 minutes. One
goes directly to Groningen, while the other requires a transfer trains
normally at Amersfoort. (Please refer to the NS-HOME.) Ticket offices are located in the main hall of the airport, and direction
and departure times are given on display panels.
The city is also linked with major cities in the Netherlands whether it
be Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht or The Hague, and you can arrive at Groningen
within 3 hours from each city.

From the Central Station of Groningen, buses, line 11(Spot D), 15 or 615
(15 and 615 run only on weekdays from Spot E) headed for Zernike, will
lead you to the Zernike Campus in 15-20 minutes, and our office is about
3-5 minutes away from the second last bus stop (Zernike) .

From the South-West (Paris/Brussels/Amsterdam):
Towards Amsterdam/Utrecht, A1/A27 to Almere, A6/A7 to Groningen.
From the South-East (Koln/Zurich/Vienna):
Towards Ruhrgebiet (Duisburg/Dortmund), A3/E35 to the German-Dutch border,
A12 to Arnhem, A50 to Zwolle, A28 to Groningen.
From the East and North (Kopenhagen/Berlin/Warschau):
Towards Hamburg/Hannover/Bremen, from Bremen the A28/E22 to the German-Dutch
border, A7 to Groningen.
Please note that access by car and parking in the city centre are strictly limited to prserve historical heritages in Groningen. We recommend that you use car parks nearby when you visit the city by car.
